Dimelia (Dumolia) has been in college in Jamaica for several years. (She is the one in white pants.) She was brought to our orphanage by her father when she was very young. They lived in the mountains, and when Dumolia was very young, she fell into a large pot (chodia), which had boiling water. She was badly burned from her neck down to her navel.

We sent her to the Shriners Burn Center in Boston. For years, she stayed with a lady who took her back and forth to the Burn Center. They did a “lot” of painful skin grafts! She suffered so much, but she always kept her faith in God! She still has more “college” on her plate, but she is determined to pass and get a good job, hopefully, in Jamaica! She is such a sweetheart! We all love her, especially her “Haitian sisters!” She loves the Lord, is active in her church, and God’s Hand is on her life!
