Our older children have been through floods, famines, hurricanes, and some, through an earthquake. They know that in order to help the victims, they must first find out how many families and print “tickets” to give to the people. (Otherwise, there would be fighting, grabbing, pushing, etc.)
Even though we are not there right now, they stayed in contact with us and went out to find out what the people needed and how many families. Dieuferly took shots and documented everything for the engineers who are doing the “River Diversion Project” that we helped with.
Now, clean clothes, toiletry items, blankets, tee shirts, and much more will be distributed today, along with tents. (Note: We are very limited on food, but we will give what we have and also beans.)
We are so proud of Reggie (the big guy in the picture). He is the “chief” when we’re gone! Special thanks to Abdias and everyone else who helped!
Thank you, partners, and special thanks to partners who sponsored the “River Diversion Project,” which saved many, many lives! “Thank you, Lord, for giving us wonderful partners and children to help, ‘for such a time as this,’”
