Doing More for the Hungry

Widespread hunger/malnutrition is one of Haiti’s problems. Now, add to this, the economic problems of the rising “Haitian Gourdes” against the U.S. Dollar, which means that food products have doubled, and in some cases, tripled. And with the economic impact of COVID-19, it is worse.

Now, take all of that in with the fact that many gangs control parts of Haiti. The poor are always the ones to suffer, and unlike the rich, they do not have a house in the United States and one in France… The poor have no place to go.

We love sharing the food that is donated to us, but the economy has been so bad that we now have to buy “containers of rice” in Haiti, along with fish to share with other missionaries and villages that we work in. This picture of a little sweetie came to us from our friend, “Lori,” at Real Hope for Haiti. The Lord multiplies the food that we receive so that it can have a greater impact! David Myer always says, “Together we are better,” and it’s true.
