All around Haiti today, churches are filled with Haitian Christians, singing and worshiping the Lord. Church is a very important part of the Haitians’ lives. The poor Haitians in the mountains will find any means to go to church… it is the “one day a week” they can forget about their problems and ask the Lord for help.
We are thankful to our partners who send in clothing for our Love A Child Children. They are growing fast and it is hard to keep the boys in clothes, as well as the girls. Here, you see little Noah, all dressed up and looking like he’s going to a concert! Just a few years ago, he was abandoned outside our gate, beaten, had bite marks on him, and had severe malnutrition. He “loves the Lord!” God has “pulled him away from death” and he wants to serve Jesus. Let’s go to church today, or listen to His Word and let Him know “how much we love Him!!” Have a great day! Sherry
P.S. All Haitians love to “dress for church!” You would never see them in jeans, shorts, or t-shirts. “Dress for Jesus,” is what it means to them.
