I remember the first day Dumolia’s (Dimelia) father brought her to us. She was very young. Prior to that, she had fallen into a large pot of “boiling water.” I think she might have tripped and fallen in. From her neck down to her stomach, her skin was melted! When we got her, she could not raise her arms above her head, nor could she turn her head from side to side. She had been burned from her neck down to her waist.

We found a sponsor to care for her, and we sent her to the best burn unit we could find. She was in and out of hospitals for years, and learned English well. We could not get her to the States for college, so we sent her to Jamaica (an English-speaking country). She has been in college for two years. She is taking “Business Statistics, Intro. to Management, Introduction to Macroeconomics, Entrepreneurship,” and more… tough subjects! She is in her second semester, second year. This beautiful young lady is as beautiful “inside” as she is outside! We pray for “favor” for her and that God will keep His hand on her. She’s our “baby!”
