Years ago, when Dumolia was very young (under age 8), she fell into a large wash tub full of boiling water. It scalded her from her neck to her stomach.

She did not have the proper care for burns. When her father brought her to us, she was around six. She could not turn her neck from side to side, nor could she raise her arms above her head.

We had to send her to another state for her skin grafts; we had to find a home to keep her and get her back and forth to the burn center.

After years of skin grafts, she came home to us.

She graduated from High School here in Haiti, and then we sent her to college in Jamaica.

She is still in college, loves her church, but misses her “brothers and sisters!”

She is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside!

We are so proud of her!
