For anyone who has children in the States, it is always good to remind them “what a gift” education is!
In Haiti, each child has to buy material for school uniforms and pay to have them made! Many of the poor will choose “hand-me-down” shoes because they are so expensive!
This is just “one” of our kindergarten classes here at Love A Child! But this year, the children all have nice “hand-made” shoes, right from Sarah Sandsted’s shoe-making workshop, “Deux-Mains,” in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She provides hundreds of Haitians with jobs at her factory in Port-au-Prince, Haiti! Her shoes are the best! They are the “strongest, most durable shoes in Haiti!”
We encourage any missionaries who have worked in Haiti to contact Sarah Sandsted! She puts Haitians to work and makes “the most beautiful, durable shoes” for Haiti’s school children!
We also want to thank a friend and partner who has helped make this possible! When we all work together for the poor, we can get the job done!
