You may have already seen these sweet pictures of Haiti’s little school children, having a hot meal each day. Many of these children come from quite a distance, and their parents have a hard time “just getting them to school.” You can well know that “these children have not had a good breakfast before they left home!” I can tell you that most had nothing to eat when they left their little “kay pay” (house).
The majority of these children barely have a decent meal to eat each day. There is a Haitian Creole Proverb that says, “hunger in the stomach is not sweet.” We want to give these hungry children “a real good, hot meal each day” so that they can learn. God bless you, our wonderful partners, who give and pray for Haiti’s poor. We love you.
