Ericka… Her mother found out, soon after Ericka was born, that there were “problems” with the baby. She had a bad skin infection, and she cried “constantly.” We were afraid to leave her with her mother, so we took her in. Because of her speech impediments and her mental problems, it was very difficult for her in school. The children made fun of her, but that didn’t stop her.

Even though she had a tough time talking and learning, she doesn’t feel sorry for herself! She is determined to graduate one day! Bravo, Ericka! We are proud of you! Of all our children, she is the sweetest! In my book, she is “far ahead of the other children” in many ways! We love her! She is a “gift from God!” God bless you, partners!!
