Ericka is fifteen years old… a “special needs” child. When we found her, she was just a few months old, laying on a dirt floor, covered with sores and in complete misery.

Ericka was such a hungry, miserable baby. Her mother died right after we had seen her, and so we brought her to our “home.” She is in school, although we tried to discourage her because of her learning disabilities. She “wants to learn!”

She is sweet and loving and smiles all the time. Ericka will always try to help. She is a precious young teen!
