This is Esther, age 15. She is one of our teenage girls here at Love A Child Children’s Home. She loves school and hopes that it will open soon here in Haiti. She loves studying English and French. She also has a gift of dance and singing like the other girls.

Esther loves animals and has always wanted to be a vet! So, I told her she needs to start by caring for the horses, leading them to grass, water, and giving them a bath!!

Ducanous, one of our guys who care for horses, says she has to get used to “touching the horses,” and not to be afraid of them! I told her that her next step would be “getting that ball away from Sampson,” and brushing his teeth! Ha!!! She may be thinking of another career field soon!!
