Daniella and her brother Daniel are twins. Nothing is known of their father, so maybe he left before the children were born, but their mother didn’t know she was about to have triplets! She took a tap-tap ride to the General Hospital (hospital for the poor), and there had been violence in the streets. So when she arrived, she was told to “ leave!” Since there were rioters there, she went back home to give birth to twins; the third baby died with her.

Her uncle had someone bring the twins to us. Both babies were extremely frail and severely malnourished. Both are still small and thin.
Daniella is a worker and will do anything that is needed. She wants to be an “eye doctor” because her twin brother suffered so much from bad eyesight.

Daniella is in her last year of school. She is so, so sweet and quiet. She loves Church and loves the Praise Dances. And, “everyone loves her!” So do we!!!
