It is a great joy to see the “reward” of years of labor here at the Orphanage. This is Fabienne. She has been attending a dental university here in Haiti and just loves it!!! She wants to be a “Dental Hygienist” or a “Dental Assistant.”

I have noticed that when someone around another person who has a talent or a “gift” and they desire that gift, that it can become a reality in the life of a child. Fabienne began working with dental teams several years ago. She helped by “cleaning the dental instruments,” and assisting the dentists in any way she could because she knew that one day, “this would be her dream.”

She has completed two years of school and has three more years to go. The sad thing is that schools and universities are still not in session, since the riots, roadblocks, shootings, etc., began. This is so, so, sad because all these children “have a dream.” We pray that things will soon be better so that all the children can go back to school and the universities will open again and that all the children will be “safe” when traveling.
