Fabienne had completed her “13 years of school,” so we wanted to send her to college. She attended a dental college for two years here in Haiti. She wanted to be a “Dental Assistant” to clean teeth! But sadly enough, her college was taken over by the gangs, like many other colleges. “So sad.”

She had attended dental college for two years and had two more years to go. But we could not let her stay in the area of the gangs.

As soon as the gangs leave that area, maybe she could go back to college. We feel so sorry for the older college children here in Haiti. They all have a “dream,” but due to the gangs, so far, it is “only a dream.”
