“Love, is Something You Do!”
Early this morning, Abdias, Breezie, and many of our Haitian children began the work of “bagging beans, rice, cooking oil, and lots of new clothes” for 300 poor families. We have been bringing in the “Feed My Starving Children” food for many years, but now that the gangs have taken over the area where our containers come in, it is “extremely difficult and much too dangerous!” A couple of our “good container drivers” have fled to South Haiti due to gangs! And, the border between Haiti and the Dominican Republic is closed!!
But, God always has “a ram in the bush!” When children are starving, we must be creative and do our best to give them food and “hope!” We bought loads of large bags of rice and lots of cooking oil. We also bought tons of beans from North Dakota! Next week, we will be taking beans, rice, cooking oil, and nice clothing (mostly new), to two large, difficult villages to get to! Thank you, partners! “Love, is Something You Do!”
