Feeding Children Haiti

Feeding Children in Haiti: 4-24-18 8:00 AM

There is a Creole Proverb that says, “An empty sack cannot stand.” It means, “When you are hungry, you cannot stand, you cannot learn, you cannot even work. Hunger takes over.”

For children all over Haiti, “school” is only a dream. They leave their mountain homes early and can be walking four or five hours “one way” to get to school. One of our schools is so far that we cannot even transport food by truck. It has to be bought locally and taken by mule.

These children pictured are from our friend Chuck at Truth Evangelistic Ministries! He does great work, and we share our food with him each month so that he can keep on feeding these precious children.

When we give, God blesses our gift, and He multiplies it! Thank you, partners! Bobby and I are so blessed that God sent you “our way!” Love, Sherry
