The children in these pictures have a wonderful opportunity. They get to go to school and have a hot meal each day, but look at the little boy in the big, “long-sleeved sweatshirt” (probably found this in the dump). He has to dig through mounds of garbage each day to find a little food “thrown away,” or find something he can sell to take to his mother, to buy food “for today.” Each day is a struggle to make it through that day. It is the most heart-wrenching, sickening thing I have ever seen in 26 years of working in Haiti.

However, the children in these uniforms have a chance. The organization called Agri-Plus Haiti is feeding these children in schools in the mountains. Just look at their happy faces.

Jesus said, “…and thou shalt love thy ‘neighbor’ as thyself.” Think about this all day long and pray about what God would have you do to “help your neighbor,” no matter where he is. God bless you. Bobby and Sherry
