BWA PIN CHARLES:

We had to take several large trucks and our faithful “four-wheel-drive!” The mountain road up to Bwa Pin Charles would scare anyone, but we are used to these mountain trips! When we arrived, our Haitian Pastor Souffrance was there, way ahead of us! We had several large trucks, driven by our older Haitian boys, and we had lots of volunteers, but when we arrived, there was a “very long line” of anxious mothers waiting for that “big box of food!” (Each box has 216 nourishing, delicious meals!!) The Haitians LOVE this food! We found out from Pastor Souffrance that these mothers had been waiting in line since “daylight!” Each mother was praising God, as she lifted the huge box!

Jesse Ostrander was with us! He is always a great help! He was there helping to distribute the boxes of food, as well as the cooked food for the children. Our older boys had purchased “big, huge bags of water” for the mothers to take home, also!

After all the mothers had left with the “box of food and the huge bag of water,” they waited for their children… Just a little way away there were hungry children waiting for “hot food!” Pastor Souffrance’s wife, and other ladies from their church, were cooking “hot meals” of Feed My Starving Children food for all the children! Yum! That food smelled so good!

Thank you, everyone, who has sacrificed and sent funds to help feed these precious Haitian people and their children! “Great is your reward in Heaven!” Thank you for your prayers and support. Today, we distributed 64,800 meals! Love is something you do!
