Children in the mountains of Haiti always go to church on Sunday but when Monday morning comes, they are up early, dressed for school, with their uniform on. Going to a Love A Child school not only means a Christian education, but it also means “that one full meal, each day!”

Now that there are gangs on the streets, it is more difficult to get food to them; but our wonderful Haitian Director, Wilson (Nelio) Barthelemy, makes sure that somehow, the food will get to the children. All our mountain schools are still functioning, although gangs are creeping in, in some areas.

We “love” feeding hungry children! Today, Haitian mothers are going to church in the mountains and thanking God for people, like you, who continually help feed their children, despite dangers and obstacles. God bless you, our dear friends, who never forget the poor children in Haiti.
