Bobby and I have been living and working in Haiti for many years. God has blessed us to build “Christian Schools,” to educate children, a beautiful Orphanage, a wonderful Clinic, a Church, and much more. But the greatest reward is “feeding Haiti’s hungry children.”
We have had many “feeding outreaches” in the “regions beyond.” Our “four-wheel-drives” have taken us to the tops of high, dangerous mountains in Haiti. Many of you who are reading this have been on those trips with us, when Bobby and I were driving the high mountain roads in our “four-wheel-drives!”
We have been to places so far in the mountains that it is hard to believe “that anyone could actually live up there!”
We have built Churches, Christian Schools, and other outreaches, but the most touching thing to our hearts has been “feeding Haiti’s hungry children!”
We bring the food, the bowls, the spoons, etc., but when children are starving, “forget about those plastic spoons!” “Fingers are faster,” and the children think that it’s easier to eat with fingers!
I have seen children eat “every single grain of food,” and then they “run their fingers on the inside of the bowl, just to get the last taste!” That’s how hungry children eat!
Thank you, partners, for the many times you have sacrificed to send your gifts to feed the hungry!
Seeing the face of Jesus will be worth it all.
