This morning we went to a location in the rocky river bed between Lastik and La Roche. We had sent Food Cards on ahead so that we could have a peaceful distribution. These people were so sweet, thankful, and appreciative! They live high up in the mountains but our trucks could not make it. We decided to feed the people and children in Lastik and La Roche.

They are so poor and have a hard time feeding their families. We brought them Feed My Starving Children food and black beans. They rarely get beans of any kind because they are so expensive!! We bought a 20-foot container of black beans and packed them in plastic bags. We have black beans and the “ti pa nou” (FMSC food) in each one! They were so appreciative!

After that, we went to our “children’s feeding program!” There were over 300 children in addition to the workers. The most amazing thing to me about these Haitian children is that, even though they were hungry, no one dared to eat until every child had their plate of food! We would never see this in the states!! Thank you, everyone, who has given for food! May God bless you, according to Psalms 41:1-3
