Many years ago when Bobby and I first began working in Haiti, we had large crusades with thousands in attendance. At one of these crusades, Bobby was preaching about “How Good God Was.” A lady in the back of the crowd held up a little baby with a bloated stomach, skeleton-like arms and red hair. She yelled something in Creole like, “If God is so good, why is my baby so hungry?” That incident turned our life around. We still preach the Gospel, but we found out we can preach “much louder” when we feed the hungry. We also share our food with partners, such as Diddi Washington with Mission Haiti Helping Kids, and we all work together. Sherry
