Here in Haiti, feeding hungry people is much more difficult than you can imagine. Many of the families we feed live in dangerous areas, like the garbage dumps. Other families live in hard-to-reach areas, like the families on top of this mountain in Peyi Pouri, Haiti. The boxes of food are very heavy, so they must be carried “on the heads of the men, women, and children” or by a donkey or mule. The mountain trails are rough and dangerous, but the people are so very thankful for the food. The food is donated, but we would never be able to pay for the shipping and other expenses if it were not for our wonderful partners.
