Feeding the poor in Gobert, Haiti: 11-30-18 8:30 AM

Pastor Souffrance, the Pastor from Peyi Pouri, sent us some pictures of families who live in a village “up above Peyi Pouri.”  This village is called Gobert, and it is “two villages higher up” than Peyi Pouri. The people are so poor, and their crops cannot grow. The last hurricane destroyed their little shack homes, and most of them have “no roofs” at all.

We sent two of our workers up there last week to see the conditions of the people and children. It is pathetic. Our workers said, “They keep praying and hoping that help will come.” They need tin for their roofs and food on a monthly basis. Each month, we have to bring in eight containers “plus” of food. We are thankful to Joyce Meyer MinistriesHand of Hope for sponsoring a container of food each month, and also to Jentezen Franklin for doing the same. They do this on a monthly basis. We also have friends that the Lord speaks to that sponsor a container as they can because the need is so great. Pray about what the Lord would have you do, large, small or widow’s mite. This feeding program is the biggest burden we have, believing the Lord for eight containers of food each month. We will be sending you some more information on the families in Gobert shortly, but this season, let us “open our hands wide” unto the poor. Bobby and Sherry
