Don’t you hate it when you have to “step in” and fill someone’s shoes… especially someone who has walked close to God, and someone who everyone has loved and counted on?

Just think about young “Joshua.” Moses, their great leader, who has talked “face to face” with the Lord, has died! Moses was dead, and they were not through with their journey!

By the hand of Moses, God had performed miracles… the clothing and shoes for all the thousands of Israelites “never wore out!!!” Manna from Heaven fed the Israelites from the “Hand of God!” God told Moses, “You will see the land I promised you… but you shall not go over there!”

God had taken Moses, but He already had a “plan” for His people! It was Joshua! God may choose you to do something “you have never done!” Maybe it could be something in your Church, or on your job, or whatever. You might be called to fill those “big shoes,” but it will all be part of God’s plan! Yes, you CAN “fill those big shoes,” because you serve “a Big God!” Have a great day!
