Natalie… She was less than a year old when she was brought to us, needing medical care. Her mother had died, so Natalie was automatically considered an orphan, because “Haitian fathers, cannot, or don’t want to, care for a newborn.” Regardless, we went on a hunting trip for her father. But he was nowhere to be found and maybe we will never find him!
Now, she is 13 and a beautiful young girl, but acts like she is younger in some ways, but older in other ways. The way she always used to wear her hair, was the reason we called her “Minnie Mouse!”
Natalie is very mature for her age! She always talks about becoming a pediatrician! She has chores to do… cleaning her room, helping ironing clothes, or working in the kitchen! She’s in 8th grade and loves soccer!! She wants to become a pediatrician! Anything she sets her to mind to, is done first class! We all love Natalie!
