When Bobby and I first moved to Haiti, we rented a house in the mountains. A poor woman would come to our gate, and we would help her as much as we could. One day, the children lost their father. After “more problems” in the family, the mother died. We had taken in four children, and soon there were four more. That’s when we moved and began to make plans for a large orphanage. The siblings, Julia, Franceau, Florence, and Yolande were there, along with other children who were orphaned. We were beginning to have a “large family.”

Florence’s sister, Julia, “passed away” while we were in Fond Parisien. Franceau and Yolande work for Love A Child, but Florence is working in Italy, where she went to college. Unfortunately, Florence will have to continue to work at a clinic in Italy because that’s where her training came from. We look forward to visiting her this year, and we pray that the Lord sends “a good looking, sweet, Christian husband!” We need lots of prayers that Florence will find a good Christian husband who loves Jesus and Florence!!
