We give food each month to many poor villages, and we actually distribute this food ourselves. There is one particular village that gets so excited about this food! It is called Fond Bayard, and it is not far from the border of the Dominican Republic.
This village was built years ago by Haitians who were deported from the Dominican Republic. There are two families living in each small house, and living conditions are horrible. Each month we give them food, and most of this food comes from Feed My Starving Children. This food is donated to us, but costs us $10,000 to transport each container (272,000 meals) to Haiti. This is such a blessing! We also share this food with families in the garbage dumps, prisons, mountain villages, orphanages, and many more groups. We are so thankful for partners like Joyce Meyer Ministries – Hand of Hope, Pastor Jentezen Franklin and his Kingdom Connection Partners, and the many others who help sponsor an entire container of food each month. “Love Is Something You Do.” Sherry
