We just returned from a “family food distribution” in the garbage dump area called, “Truttier.” Three hundred and thirty mothers came for food. This required three police, several of our men, and ten “local security.” This is one of the most dangerous areas of Haiti, where thieves and those with guns steal from the poor. For that reason, we hide the food in yellow sacks.
