Right now, Sherry is in three villages distributing food. These three areas are tough because they have some young gangs there who cause trouble and try to steal the food from the poor ladies. We had a lot of trouble here in Fond Parisian from some gangs or tough guys. They had threatened all of us in the past several times with guns and rocks. Poor Kaeli was scared to death last month. She cried all night. After we met with them and said Love A Child is leaving the whole area, everything changed! You will never believe this! For the last two or three food distributions they have been our security and organized the whole food distribution perfectly! Now they have made up t-shirts saying Love A Child security!! We love these guys! Haiti is one crazy place. Sherry has just called me. I didn’t even know she was on a Food Distribution this morning. She has more energy than anybody I know!
