Pastor Solomon is one of the people who have a ministry or organization to help feed children. We have known her for some time now, and she, like many missionaries have to struggle to feed their children.

Many times, they don’t know where the next meal is coming from, and that can be stressful when you have lots of children to feed. She just picked up some food from us, and we also gave her clothes for her children.

Here in Haiti, the children are so vulnerable. When they don’t eat, they become thin, lethargic, and they cannot learn very well. Their health soon goes down to “nothing.” But, this wonderful food, given to us by our friends at “Feed My Starving Children,” becomes a meal in itself… you don’t have to add meat, vitamins, etc. Everything is combined with the rice mixture, and it is healthy and tastes good!!! The children call this, “ti pa nou,” or “a little for us.” When they eat their main meal, they eat a big plateful of food. Hungry children “lick their fingers,” and pick up every grain of rice that sticks to the bowl. You and I “don’t know what real hunger is…”
