Many of Haiti’s children live in remote areas where there are no jobs for their parents. They survive only by trying to plant small gardens, in poor soil, with little rain. They only grow “weeds.” Some chop down trees to make charcoal and others do what they can. Each day, every day, their main focus is to “find food today.” They do not think about “tomorrow,” because it is too stressful to find food today.

When you feed the hungry, even if it is a small gift, the “windows of heaven” will open upon you, according to Psalm 41:1-3. This little village is near Peyi Pouri. We brought food for the children and even though they were “quite hungry,” they sat quietly, not fighting for food, but humbly waiting for it. God bless each and every one of our partners!!!
