Thank you to all of you who have given to purchase the food in the Dominican Republic. The response has been overwhelming! We’ve received permission from the government to bring all the rice, beans, and cooking oil across the border and into Haiti. We are using our own semi and container to pick up the food in Santo Domingo. The money for the first container of food was wired today! I love the way we have all the food bagged up. I put the bag of rice, the bag of beans, and cooking oil all in one clear bag. The Haitians will go crazy over the food and how we bagged it. It’s much easier to distribute. I cannot say when the food will cross the border for security reasons. Thank you! There is a food crisis here in Haiti. Our schools are still closed. Pray for Haiti! Love is something you do!
