We have “lots of boys” in our Love A Love a Child Orphanage. We had, originally, 34 girls. One (a favorite) died a few years ago. Right now, some of the girls are in the States and have a job! One, Dumolia (Dimelia), is in college in Jamaica, and one, Florence, has a job in Italy.
Left to right… Widlene, Hannah, Daniella, and Daphlina. These are some of the older girls who are finished with High School. However, a few are missing from the picture! Widlene (left) has recently graduated from college as a “chef!” Then, there is Hannah, who helps cook food for the orphanage. Daniella has a job at our Clinic, and Daphlina works in the kitchen with our cooks, “Nini” and “Tikline!” They all have work to do or have a job!
However, although they have different “gifts” in their lives, they are all praying for “one thing,” and they pray every day for it! They are all praying for God to send them “an American husband!”And since there are gangs in Haiti, and hardly any teams coming in, it’s going to take “a real miracle!” Ha!
The girls want help with prayers that the “gangs will go,” and the “teams of good/looking young men,” will “come to Haiti on a mission team!” We told them, “Keep the faith! Things are getting better in Haiti, and we are praying that in a short time, teams can come again!” The girls said that we “don’t need too many young girls, just send boys!!” Ha! Poppy Bobby tells the girls, “he is going to get his gun!” Ha! Ha!
