One month after Hurricane Melissa devastated southern Haiti, families are still sleeping on the cold ground, under the stars. They lost everything: homes, clothes, shoes… even hope was “hanging by a thread.”

You can see from the pictures how the hurricane destroyed many homes, even covering up many of them under layers of mud!

I cannot sleep at night. We cannot stand by and “do nothing!” We are our brother’s keeper! We must “love our neighbors as ourselves.” Matt 12:31.

In Jan 2026, by faith, we will start building the special, well-built “Gabion houses.” In 2021, when the hurricane hit southern Haiti, you and I together built 100 Gabion houses. I’m happy to report that “after the hurricane passed by last month, “all 100 Gabion houses are still standing!!” PTL!

Each “two-bedroom Gabion house” will cost $10,600. I need your help; together we can do it!

I have signed a contract to build “60 houses up to 150 Gabion houses!. We have one donor who will give the money for the first 30 Gabion houses. Hallelujah! We must raise the money for the other 30 houses. We have the names of the 150 families whom Hubert has visited and has confirmed that they have lost everything. Year 2026 will be the year of the Gabion house!

Please pray and help today. You may feel led to pledge to build several houses, one house, or any amount… every penny counts! We cannot stand by and do nothing. I believe God’s blessing will come upon all of us and take us over! Psalms 41:1,2,3
