Esther is the sister of Widlene. When I first saw Esther, many years ago, she was in the arms of her mother, Mdm. Jesula. I can remember it like it was yesterday… a poor lady appeared at our gate when we first moved to Haiti. She had a little girl with her, Widlene, and in her arms, Esther, the baby. The poor woman wanted us to take her two children because she was ill and felt that she was dying. She was trying to find a home for her little girls before she died! We told the lady that “she wasn’t going to die,” because God was going to take care of her and her children!

We sent Mdm. Jesula to the clinic and found out that she was anemic and very weak! We took her into our “small orphanage” and the doctor who examined her told us that she just needed “food!” We gave Mdm. Jesula a job at our orphanage and took in her two children.

Today, Esther is in college in Haiti and wants to be a dental hygienist. She will make it!! Esther loves the Lord and wants God’s hand on her life! Please remember Esther in your prayers. Thank you, Sherry.
