Miliana is now 17 years old! We found her while doing a Mobile Clinic. We had been to this village of Madamn Bauje, but this was the first time we had ever seen a child with this horrible skin condition. It looked like small “tree trunks or stubs,” growing out from all over her body. We took her back with us.

We sent her to the States to a skin specialist but there was no help for her. She must now stay out of the sun as much as possible. She is now 17, in 10th grade, and wants to be a nurse. Her jobs are cleaning and helping care for the little children here at our orphanage.

She loves to cook, and loves “tic-tac-toe!” And, she is a devout Christian. Thank you, partners. You are always there, ready to help “the leper.” God bless you for your love, your prayers, and everything you have done to bless the poor!
