George (Georges) was born during Hurricane Georges. His mother had too many children and her health was not good. She thought she would die at any time. She made me promise that I would come and get her baby as soon as she delivered.
George was born during “Hurricane Georges,” so we named him “George.” Little did I know that his mother would live long enough to have a baby girl, “Stephanie.” George was a rascal! When he was “very young” (and when my back was turned), our Dominican mechanic, “Joker,” was letting George drive! He could hardly see over the wheel! I told George, “Never drive on the street!” (Because he had no license). He sweetly replied, “Mom, I’ve had my license for a long time!” Even though he has not been to a “special driving school,” he can also drive our shipping containers!
George is sweet, kind, helpful, and has a heart for the poor. He and his beautiful wife recently adopted a baby boy! Everyone “loves George!”
