We are thankful that “things are looking up,” a little in Haiti. Some of the streets that have been blocked are beginning to open up. Next week, our Haitian workers will be traveling to L’artinonite, a long way from us, to deliver food. We are now “cooking” 14 large “chodias” (huge cooking pots), full of food each day, in addition to feeding all the school children in this area, in our Love A Child school. Our administrator, Nelio, grew up in this village and he has really had a great burden for the “hunger” that these children and families face every day.

We also have three new villages that we will be sending food to, in addition to other areas. We are thankful for our new missionaries, Doug and Jessica Lackey, who are such a blessing to the people. They will be working alongside our Haitian workers, to help us get these food deliveries organized.

We know that violence can break out again at any given time, but for now, we are getting ready for food distributions. Special thanks to Feed My Starving Children for their donations of food, and thanks to all our partners who give large and small to help us bring this food to Haiti.

Thank you also, for all our partners, who have helped us buy beans, rice, and cooking oil from the Dominican Republic when the Haiti Customs was closed. We will still be delivering that food also. Thank you and God bless you, Bobby and Sherry
