Her real name is very long, so someone shortened it to Ginyia. Her mother died during a C-Section. Her father left and went to the Dominican Republic. She was actually being raised by her 17-year-old sister, and soon, her sister could no longer care for her and took her to Social Services, who called us.
Ginyia “holds her own” with all her “brothers.” But she loves to jump rope, sing and dance! She is the youngest on the Praise Dance Team and knows all the difficult movements to each song! Ginyia loves to dress up for Church! We all love Ginyia! And oh yes, her siblings give each other nicknames… her name is Fonton Boulet (Big Forehead)! All Haitians have nicknames. They don’t cry over it, or think anyone is making fun of them… they just laugh about it! I wish we were all like these children! We love Ginyia! Sherry
