In the midst of all the conflicts here, Haiti’s poor children get the “raw end of the stick.” They have no guns, nothing to defend themselves, even from hunger. They do not start fires in the street… They only start a fire when there is food to eat, which is very seldom. They work hard, carrying heavy loads on their heads, and when night comes, they can only dream of having a hot meal or going to school. A clean bed and a full belly are just dreams. They wake up each day and just “survive” for that day. God help us to help the poor, regardless of what is going on, these children need us. Sherry
