Today is Sunday and everyone is in church. But a lot of work goes on here at Love A Child every day, except Sunday. “God is Good,” that’s what Dieubon’s poor mother named him, even though he had been born with club feet! Maybe this poor mother saw that in the future, God would make a way for her child to go to the states and have a “double club foot” operation and also, a spinal operation. He stayed in the home of two wonderful friends, Chester and Debbie Falterman. They took care of Dieubon for several years until he was well enough to come home.

Dieubon is short, but he’s a good painter and never makes a mess. With his small salary, he helps care for his parents and siblings. It is true… when you give one Haitian a job, he feeds ten people!

We all love Dieubon! He is in his last year of high school. He is easygoing, funny, happy, and always tells the truth!! Everyone loves him! Sherry

P.S. on another thought, our good friend Dr. Chester Falterman went to be with Jesus about four years ago. He was a wonderful Christian, a great doctor, and a man of God! We still miss him so much.
