The Love A Child compound has many animals: horses, donkeys, dogs, cows, chickens, and guineas. Here in Haiti, where uncertainty often feels loud, the behavior of these animals speaks volumes. The horses grazing, cows drinking, dogs sleeping, and birds chirping are unbothered, unafraid.
We should be reminded that God’s provision does not stop when circumstances are hard. These animals eat, they rest, they move about in peace, trusting the care woven into creation itself. Haiti may be a rough place, but God has not stepped away. He is still present. He is still providing. He is still sovereign.
If God faithfully cares for His creatures, how much more does He care for His children? Take heart today amid the chaos, “God’s Got this!”
(Matthew 6:26, 31–32).
