Sweet little Kenzy is coming home to our orphanage today! He has been in a Haitian hospital for some time. Kenzy had severe anemia for quite some time! The doctors diagnosed him with “sickle cell anemia” and other complications. He has been extremely weak, also. He has also been to the heart doctor, and several of his “orphanage brothers” (who are now in college) had to give blood for his transfusions. Haiti does not have a “Blood Bank” like we do here in the States. If blood is needed, a relative or relatives must give blood!
It has been “touch and go” for over a month. Kenzy has been “sickly” since he was a baby. In order to get him to a hospital, our driver had to go through sections of gangs. But thank God, sweet Kenzy will be happy to sleep in his own bed! He is anxious to be back in school when it starts in October. Thank you, partners, for your prayers and support!
