Daniel met with the pediatric ophthalmologist here in Santo Domingo. He was having trouble seeing in both eyes but was almost blind in his right eye. He could not see anything at a distance. I was fully expecting some sort of major problem to be discovered within the eye.

However, after the analysis was completed, Daniel’s problem is just a severe astigmatism. He actually has astigmatism in both eyes, but his right eye is very severe. The good news is he can see 20/20 with corrective lenses. All he needed was glasses.

We went immediately to a place that sells frames and has a lab that makes the lenses on site. He picked out a set of frames and was given his brand-new set of glasses in about 20 minutes. I wish everyone could have been with me to see his face when he could finally see. His world has opened up. He is now 20/20! Thank you for your prayers and support!
