Mario, the founder of Eco Peeps, was in the US until age four. After he had received his education, he decided to go back to Haiti. He spent a long time there after the earthquake, volunteering his business skills. Then, he created a business for the poor to make money. By gathering plastic water bags from the trash and melting them to make the front of children’s book bags. Genius! We are purchasing these for all our orphan children for school.
