Mika Georges… Mika’s mother, Madamn Mercilla, died during complications in childbirth (she had her babies in the mountains, at home). Her father, St. Cappe, could not care for the twins. They lived high in the mountains in the village of Covant, many hours away from us, via four-wheel-drive, then, on foot for hours, and then by mule! She and her twin, Mikalange, were brought down to our orphanage. They were in good health and grew up fast!
Mika is the “quieter” of the twins. She is 15 and wants to learn “computers!” Her chores are cleaning her room, ironing, and helping in the kitchen. Now, she is working each day for a few hours in the Jesus Healing Center Clinic. She loves soccer and in is 10th grade! We love her!!
