“Your Face is Your Passport,” a Haitian Creole Proverb…
Stephano’s mother had been in prison for years when we first got him. His father had abandoned him. So, his parents did not want him.
That didn’t stop Stephano! He always has had a smile from ear to ear! He is now 14 and is “very tall!” He is always near a mechanic, wanting to fix something!
Stephano starts his day by helping to clean the orphanage, taking out the garbage, and picking up any trash on the property. His hobbies are soccer and dominos, and he is a ruthless domino player!
He will be going to 8th grade and looks forward to school! He makes good grades and has always been an excellent student! He will go far because “his face is his passport!”
