This evening the Gwo Maché Mirak Soccer Team had their first game with everyone here from this area of Haiti! The guys in the beautiful yellow uniforms are the Gwo Maché Mirak’s Team. Kaeli, one of our missionaries, was brave enough to take all the kids from our orphanage on our bus to the game. That’s Kaeli in the middle of the kids, everyone had a great time! This is such a wonderful project for the Haitian people. They face so many problems in their lives every day and soccer (“football” in Creole) brings everyone to the same “playing field,” and takes their minds off their problems for a while.
