HAITI UPDATE:

In our community and the surrounding areas, the people are suffering for food desperately. I never realized how much all the people really depended on our Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) meals. They call it “ti-pa-nou,” which means “just a little for us.” I’m hearing very sad stories of children suffering from a lack of food. This is a really bad and serious situation.

Food / FMSC Container Report:
We’ve had two containers arrive to Love A Child. Hoping and praying another one comes today. The road is bad today with the gangs. Nelio, our Haitian director, cleared from customs 6 containers that we can pull out. We have 15 more containers in customs, plus one container full of beans and one container from the office in Fort Myers.

Please pray the Lord will meet every need.

For each container of donated meals shipped to us, we pay around $10,000 per container for shipping. In shipping fees, we have $230,000 plus there are more containers of meals on the ocean coming to customs. Plus the late fees are mounting up to $70 per day late fees per container. Thank the Lord, a generous couple has said they will pay the late fees. Nelio has also been negotiating to have the late fee prices come down. Please pray…

Thank you for your prayers. Please… to everyone who can help financially, I need your help for the Haitian people and the children. This is a very heavy load upon the shoulders of Sherry and me, but it’s worth it all when you see the joy and thankfulness on the faces of the children and their parents. Thank you in advance.
